3DE Exercise

I learnt how to 3D track using Xquatz the task was to add a cube into the clip I started by adding shortcuts so it would be easier when working and set the focal lenses to 24mm then I tracked the markers that were made in the clip and other shapes the were drawn from there I used a graft to show how good the tracking was then the cube was added
Tracking

This Task was to understand how to import files from 3DE to nuke and Roto out the white sign . this task was usefull because i need to remember the steps for the assignment its similar to this task
Lens Distortion And Grids

Project

In this Assessment the brief was to track moving film in 3D Equalizer and solve the camera, line up the scene, then export to Nuke using correct lens distortion information from there i had to import the files In Nuke to Videos of the end result. I first stared to track the points from the reference images from there I gaged and tracked the points then i added locators so it would be easer to see were the cube was going I imported and added a 3d cube the files into nuke i had to take out the exit sign .
Set Survey And Ref Images Files

In this set Survey and image files I looked at the reference image first i set the camera for the cannon and set the MM and made points to the measurements in the Reference images to the XYZ it was a bit tricky because i had to work out the x and z out to find out the Y from there imported the Reference images then track the points i had to change the brightness to make it easer to track

My overall outcome of this project is to 3D object in a scene. I started by recording footage of the scene with green screen so I could change the background to fit in better with the 3D object. The objects that I picked was games consoles (Playstion 4, Xbox 1) the Idea was to have them on the stand but I thought that would look small and wouldn't be recognized so I decided to keep the game consoles idea but have it on a bigger scale so I got rid of the stand prop. I filmed with FS 100 14MM I set up the tracking markers I added to the floor and the wall I tried to keep them as clear as possible so when I had to track the in 3DE4 there would not be any problems when I filmed for first time some of the problems I had was walking on the tracking markers or when they go out of frame this would affect the calc in 3DE4 because it need to be no higher than 1.1 because this effects how shaky the tracking will be. When it was all filmed I setup Adobe Media Encoder so I could adjust the length of the clip also to change the format to QuickTime, turn of the audio, change the location of where its save. I opened Nukex11 to set the frame rate to 1001 and to make the image sequence when that was set up in 3DE4 set I changed the Flimback width to 2.3600cm and the pixel aspect to 1 I stared to track when that was done the points were caclced they were originally 8.4 I retraced it to 3.1. I baked the footage and exported out to Maya in Maya Imported the games consoles added light above them with a flor that would reflect the texture which are plastic to recreate the authenticity of the consoles.
